Wren & Hawthorn original

This piece has been lovingly hand painted from Katy's home studio in Cornwall over many days on a pine wood slice that can be hung on the wall or propped on your shelf, table or mantle. This painting intended to capture some of the magick, spirit and symbolism of the charming little Wren and the wise old Hawthorn Tree.

The Wren has been revered by the Druids through times gone by and is still seen as a guide for finding beauty in all things, especially the small things.

Hawthorn, enchanted and ancient is said to hold doorways to Fae realms. She bears May blossoms symbolic of fertility & rich, red Autumn berries for healing hearts.

May this piece bring the energies of Wren and Hawthorn into your space, carried by the longevity and re-birth associated with Pine.

Painting details:

This painting measures approx 21cm across and 2.5cm deep. The Wren and Hawthorn are painted in acrylics, the Sun is painted with a special gold paint by Culture Hustle and these are all sealed with a satin varnish. The wood is oiled and the painting can be sent with a metal hanging loop on the reverse - please choose this option at checkout if you wish.
