The Wren is one of Katy’s favourite birds to paint as you often discover them on woodland and hedgerow wanders, darting from branch to trunk with their sweet round little bodies and upright, tufty tail feathers 🪶 

Wren with its melodic, high pitched trill inspired the music of Bards and became revered by the Druids as the King of the Birds ✨ 

Wren is also a symbol of protection, determination, enthusiasm, change and happiness and makes a wonderful talisman with this energy for your home and sacred space 🪶 

This piece is a print taken from an original painting by Katy Greenwood which has been carefully crafted onto a wood slice measuring approximately 8-10cm in diameter.
